We collect information you provide when creating an account (email address, name) and data generated through your use of the platform (study progress, quiz results, flashcard interactions). When you submit a message through our contact form, we temporarily store your email address for rate-limiting purposes only — we do not store the content of your message in our database.
Your information is used to: provide and personalize the Service, track your study progress, generate your Readiness Score, power AI-based study recommendations, and communicate with you about your account.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your credit card number, CVV, or other payment details. Stripe handles all payment information directly. We receive only your email address and payment confirmation status from Stripe to link your purchase to your account.
We store your account email, study progress, quiz answers, flashcard mastery, exam results, and Readiness Score. This data is used to provide you with a personalized study experience and to calculate your readiness for the NPPE.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with service providers who help operate the platform (hosting, payment processing, AI services) under strict confidentiality agreements.
Your account and study data is kept for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Contact form submissions are retained for no longer than 24 hours for rate-limiting purposes and then automatically deleted. We may retain certain records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as tax or legal compliance.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
You have the right to: access your personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, and export your study progress data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@testitnppe.ca.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising.
The Service is not directed to children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 16, please contact us and we will delete it.
Our servers and cloud hosting providers may process and store data outside of Canada. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these providers in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Test It NPPE is operated by Ridgeline Credentials Group and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Engineers Canada or any provincial or territorial engineering association. The NPPE is administered by those bodies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the platform.
